Wear parts and small parts for dental motors

Motor sleeve

The motor sleeve can be easily removed on most engines. This is important for cleaning the engines. If you use the wrong cleaning agent or do not dry thoroughly, rust can form under the sleeve. Over time, it becomes almost impossible to remove the sleeve without damaging the motor housing.

Another problem that requires a new sleeve for the motor over time is that the hole for the ball spring expands over time due to daily opening and closing. The motor sleeve no longer locks into place and is in constant motion, which affects the operation of the motor.

O-rings

There are O-rings on the motor connection that seal the motor to the angle piece. These O-rings can tear or harden over time. They should be changed regularly to prevent the motor from dripping. Depending on the motor, different O-rings and a different number of sealing rings are required.
