To give you an accurate idea of the costs, you will receive a list of defects and repair costs for each instrument.
Regardless of whether you have the repair carried out or decide against a repair, the cost estimate is always free of charge for you*.

We offer you a free shipping to us to prepare a cost estimate. Only when we have inspected your instruments can we make a reliable statement about the amount of the repair costs.

How it works: Send instruments
Step 1: Shipping
Please enter your sender address. You will then receive a pre-paid DHL label to print out as a PDF.
Please send your instruments in a shatter-proof box with a maximum of 3 instruments per package.
Please do not use envelopes or plastic boxes, as DHL charges a bulky goods surcharge, which we have to pass on to you.
Step 2: Repair order
Fill out the repair form and enclose it with your shipment.
If you are unable to print the document, please enclose an informal sheet with your address, telephone number and fax/email address as well as a brief description of the defect, if known.
Step 3: Cost estimate & approval
As soon as we receive your instruments, they will be checked by our workshop and an individual cost estimate will be prepared .
We will send this to you as soon as possible. You decide whether the repair is worthwhile for you. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us.
4. Repair time
We usually write offers within one day of receipt. If you do not hear from us within this time, please contact us so that we can clarify the reason. Sometimes there are delays in delivery or an email is placed in the spam folder .
After approval of the offer, our goal is to ship your instrument within 48 hours on working days.
This is possible for all standard repairs, as we always have sufficient stock of the usual spare parts.
For special spare parts, we are dependent on the delivery times of the manufacturers - but your instrument will be prepared so that it can be processed quickly when the missing spare part arrives.
Which instruments are repaired:
It is important that a workshop specializes in certain topics so that it can be particularly good in its field.
Dentrotec and VVK-dental specialize in the repair of rotating instruments such as handpieces, contra-angle handpieces and turbines, micromotors, laboratory handpieces and hoses for dental units.
There are very good colleagues nationwide who are happy to take on the repair of dental units, sterilizers and other equipment.
We recommend that scissors, tweezers, root elevators and other surgical instruments be processed by a medical technician who specializes in these instruments, such as the special dental depot Fraga Dental.
